President of the SKNFA, Peter Jenkins today confirmed that the 2-0 win over Barbados is a tremendous boost for the chances of the St. Kitts/Nevis Football Team to advance to the semi-final round of the CONCACAF qualification for the 2006 FIFA World Cup™.

Jenkins affirmed that congratulations are in order for the team, technical and office staff.  He however underscored the SKNFA’s cognizance that the job is not concluded, as the team needs to be focused on completing the job on Saturday when the return leg against Barbados is played at Warner Park.

Football fans, sports lovers and nationals of St. Kitts/Nevis are asked to listen for the availability of tickets for the match on Saturday.

We call on all of St. Kitts/Nevis to attend the match on Saturday at Warner Park and so provide the support for the National Team in this most important football event.
